Should people worry if they have money invested in lowrisk stocks and bonds?

It is already in one, and anyone who has money invested is risking losing it. It meets all the definitions of a depression - decline in jobs (due to republicans relocating them overseas), biggest deficit in US history, crash of major banks and corporations, record inflation, foreclosures..

if the bail out plan passes and is put into action then no l do not think we will head towards depression but either way things are not going to be too nice for a while

absolutely. im worried and im only 15. wall street is insane, and it cost the us 7 billion dollars to save only 2 banks. out of the 10-15 that have gone down the drain.
whoever is going to be president is going to have to make biiiiig decions very quickly.

Unfortunatelly it is already there. Most people were struggling before now their situation is even worse. It is very scary!

yes, tats what l heard about, since Warm is pretty much gone now or about to declare bankruptcy, my english teacher said the U.S may b heading for a depression but not one as bad as the great depression.

Yes.
The Bush bailout will make it worse than it has to be. Just like the Fed. 1929 bailout made that depression last 12 years.
It is only a matter of how bad at this point. The logic of keeping the people who caused the problem afloat with my taxes escapes me.
l guess we know just how much financial ''experts'' really understand though, do not we?

Well it might seem like a depression to alot of college kids and teens that are graduating in 2009 trying to get into college they will have it the worse.
