l have very little understanding of the stock market to begin with. But l DO understand that WaMu is done, JPMorgan bought it, and now what? Is all my money completely gone? Or will the stocks be now in JPMorgan?

If someone could fill me in on any of this Id really appreciate it as all those stocks were SUPPOSED TO pay for college...and now...well Im thinking Im outta luck completely :(

If you had WAMU stock, it is essentially wiped out.

There will be NO WAMU in the very near future. It was closed by the FDIC and JPM bought the remnants.

WAMU, like Lehman, Bear-Sterns, etc looked like safe bets. Unfortunately, the executives were 1) foolish and then 2) not honest.

Unfortunately, you are SOL. Like a lot of folks.
