Do not do it.. The problem with GM or FORD is the Credit Crunch. Both of them are in for serious re-structuring now. They will never sell cars again in USA like they did over the last 5 years. Who ever buys a car nowadays needs 40% down and needs to show that they can make the payments by proving income. The easy buying days are over and this will seriously effect GM / Fords bottom line here in the USA for the next 5 years..

Your stock will be virtually worthless. You are better off buying stocks from healthy companies that have cash, good businesses, and low debt. The stock market has crashed, so good companies are cheap, and getting cheaper. Stay away from the one is that are in their death throes.
