I am a layman on the economics front, but I am thinking with the general panic and specifically the possibility of interest rate cuts and the possibility of printing money with the gov. under pressure to do more (i.e. spend more money) to keep the economy from tanking further that buying some gold would be smart.Any one more educated in investing and economics care to advise me on that?Is there any significant risk of the price of gold dropping in the next few years?I've looked at other sites, CNBC and whatnot, and have gotten sort of mixed signals.
