Stocks were tumbling, as people were afraid the bail out plan would not pass.So now the plan passed, so now whats the problem??lreallydo not like having the media in charge of my money.. and they are in total control !!Really down about it,can anyone reassure me, or give good advice??

Sorry, but anybody who thought that the bailout plan would stop stocks from falling is not to bright when it comes to finance. The finance people certainly knew it would not -- they just sold a line of lies to make the weak-kneed fearful populace agree to the bailout, which is nothing more than an extortion of Americans. The economic crisis must run its course. The bailout wo not stop that & all it will do is put the nation into more debt.
Does not anybody know that decisions based on fear r ALWAYS the wrong decisions? That is how we've gotten into this mess as a nation. 8 years of decisions based on fear.

Dunno. Feel terrible also. l guess the market is waiting for the elections. or at least for bush to leave. Any good advice?? Well. do not sale. We have to hold on. somehow. No decisions must be made before the elections. BUT there is this good thing: everybody is (myself included) expecting a nice pull back by the end of the year.

It was not intended to be a stock market stabilization plan. It is supposed to function as a credit market stabilization plan.
