Everybody said dollar would crash after 700 bailout passed.. commodities jumped..

Nothing happened . Gold down, stocks down, copper down,oil down and dollar strong....

why? what you think price by the end of yeardollar strong or commodities strong or market up?

The Forex market is closed for the weekend. Basically l think it is way too soon to say anything, just wait and see what happens.

Well people, if you thumbs down my answer then at least try to give a better one or an argument for why you disagree. Help educate people, do not just be twats.

Everybody is never very bright. They make statements like that and they are just parroting what they have heard. Being negative, it suits their agenda.

Inflation is being driven down in the US and with the more severe weakness in Socialist Europe, Asia and Russia the significant stress is on their currencies which are at very high rates. It is not that the US is doing so good, it is that they are doing so bad.

Basically the US dollar is ahead of the curve compared the Euro, Normally it will take 2 to 3 weels for adjustments to effect valuation of the currency and the European central bank has not stemmed the tide of overleveraged financial institunions with a cash infusion like the US has.

Look for a change in direction after the elections.

The US Dollar is gaining strength against foreign currencies like the Euro and will continue to do so throughout the next several years. So owning US Government Bonds and or keeping your money in the bank will be a good investment in the short term.

l don’t understand why people r giving “Fierce” thumbs down. The articles this answerer referenced r actually quite good. l think what happened on Friday was just ur basic buy on the rumor; sell on the news phenomenon.

The dollar is crashing & gold is going much higher in the coming years. Don’t let one day sway ur convictions about this almost certain possibility. The markets r being manipulated big time & it’s obvious to anyone with even a small degree of market knowledge.
