are we giving up guns and we are sending more troops to Iraq with bows and arrows now?

Perfect example of how convoluted our political system is. Senators and congressman see that a bill is going to be passed (because everyone things something has to be done re financial bailout) so they start adding stuff to it to make them look good in their own district.

To buy votes. Pork barrel politics.

This is what McCain is speaking of when he talks about earmarks & add ons.

Purchased votes.

Either, one senator has one company, who greatly funds his campaigns & he is buying their continued support, or, more likely, China is looking to do away with one more import tax.

China, owns our politicians, they threaten to stop lending, or flood the world economy with our own dollars, & the politicians run screaming.

Our economy, is just one big wisp of fake smoke. The government, both sides, have been playing a shell game trying to stay ahead of the eventual collapse.

They can not.

The next time u hear someone say, ''the value of the dollar is dropping here is what it means to u (and me):

Fact, we buy over 50% of our food from foreign countries
Fact, we buy most of our energy (gas, heating, etc) from foreign countries.
Fact, when the dollar totally devalues (no later than a year or so), the cost of everything we need (food, clothes, gasoline) is going to spike so high that many of us will be unable to buy groceries. If there r any to buy.

A few of us understand & have seen this coming, we r preparing. The majority can not unhook themselves from their Wii or TV or long enough to care. And they won't, not until their house is dark, their car on empty & their children crying for food.

Believe what u will, but the ''experts'' told us the declining sales in housing was just a glitch (2006/early 2007), then the same experts told us the banking system was sound (multiple bankruptcies), funny, they r the same experts that ok poison for doctors to hand out & make us even sicker.

Wake up, before it is too late. But, the majority, won't.
