l am in Norway, as an American exchange student, and will be here another month. I've been taking out money form an ATM every 1, 2 weeks. I am trying to take out money when our dollar is high compared to the kroner, and even though I am fine on cash right now, does it seem like l should take money out or will it keep going up?

Over the next month, what do you predict the course of the dollar in comparison to the kroner will be? l think the Norwegian economy has suddenly been hit by the crisis as well, hence the rising dollar, but l do not really understand most of the economic trouble.

As 'you have noticed the US dollar has been shored up with the financial bank crisis. The US dollar should continue to strengthen. It will fluctuate day to day, but should be on an upward trend. My suggestion, if u r withdrawing money & the money is up, take a little more than u need. Next time u go back it may be a down day, wait a while & it should recover. Banks around the world r failing, & people r returning to the USA for safe investments. That inflates the US dollar. Good luck.
