Im thinking about buying stocks, and they are cheaper than usual now..should l risk it?

Im 18 and l dont wanna buy stocks more than $100 worth.

May be next week are better time to buy. do your home works and research, finance is a good starting point.

If you do not need the $100 for a few years then absolutely buy in.. l would go with an ETF (exchange traded fund) to spread around your risk... it is not going to go much lower and even if it does the upside potential over the next 5 years and longer is huge

Save some more money so that you can get a broker account, and start a weekly savings plan and STICK TO IT!

That is the most important thing to do.

When u buy stocks u got to remember the commission u have to pay. This will reduce the purchasing power of that $100.00.
Go to Motley is Fool (Fool.com) & research different companies through them. They recommend & rate stocks, so it could be easier to pick out a company.
Some companies l bought into is AIG, Freddy Mac, Fanny Mae & Ford.
l bought Fanny & Freddy for less than $0.50 /share. they r up a little but more now.
l am not an expert, so do not invest in these companies unless u have done ur own research. l have made the mistake of investing in two companies that filed for bankruptcy, because l did not do my research.
