hes a lawyer and im really nervous my dad is going to lose his job. we have a really nice life and are very fortunate but now have to stop spending money. help!

Ignore it l have been buying and selling the stocks that crash and made a ton of money. Just Thursday l got a stock and it went up $5.47 Friday..so l sold it. l can not hardly wait for more crashes.

Lawyers always have work. Someone always wants to sue someone else. The stock market crash is a temporary event. It will recover. It always does.

With Energy prices falling like a rock and all of the major governments acting to free up credit, l think it is likely that this recession will not be very deep or very long. l think you can safely relax, but if you have been overspending this is a good time to adapt a more frugal attitude.

Do not be nervous. Heck when the market is this low. This is a great time to buy. l wish people like u would stop worrying. The economy is fine...

The stock market is in panic mode, & people r bailing out at any cost. Stocks r being sold at a fraction of their value. Once the uncertainty of the banks' fates is resolved via the $700B bailout, people will be more willing to buy stocks again, the stock market will rise. The country is is recession for sure, & things may be a little tighter than normal for a year or two, but u will be okay. Maybe u can think of a few luxuries u could do without, though, to take some pressure off of ur Dad?
